CU Grow Partnerships

Building Connections That Drive Growth

The CU Grow Program is based on a dedication to boosting the small and local business community in New York City by means of substantial partnerships, strategic introductions, and providing access to opportunities. We know that businesses do not grow on their own; their success is usually speeded up as a result of having relationships with industry leaders, procurement professionals, project owners, anchor institutions, and resource providers who help open the way to new opportunities.

The CU Grow Program helps its participants and alumni by widening their professional networks and linking them with stakeholders who offer advice, resources, access to capital, technical assistance, and opportunities to enter into contracts. As a result of these partnerships, businesses get the chance to come into contact with decisionmakers and with organizations that enable them to build their capacity, improve their competitiveness, and aim at long-term growth.

How the CU Grow Network Creates Impact

Through networking events, educational workshops, expert coaching sessions, industry panels, and direct introductions, CU Grow:

  • Links up small and local businesses with potential customers and contracting opportunities.
  • Gives access to people who work in supplier management.
  • Builds good relations with both public, private, and nonprofit organizations.
  • Helps connect people with lenders, capital providers, and business development resources.
  • It provides opportunities for peer-to-peer learning between entrepreneurs and industry experts.
  • Provides alums with opportunities to stay involved and keep expanding their networks after they finish the program.

Creating a Lasting Ecosystem of Support

The CU Grow Program's strength goes beyond the classroom since it brings together universities, leading companies, government agencies, community organizations, and business experts to create an ecosystem in which participants and alumni are able to build valuable relationships to support their growth journey.

These partnerships enable companies to spot new opportunities, navigate challenges, access essential resources, and prepare for long-term success. Through ongoing collaboration and engagement, the CU Grow network promotes economic development and helps create a vibrant community of small and local businesses across New York City.

Our Commitment

CU Grow remains committed to developing partnerships that provide genuine opportunities for participants and alumni. We do this by linking businesses with the right people, resources, and organizations, helping entrepreneurs extend their reach, strengthen their capabilities, and build the relationships needed for long-term success.
